Gessy Fashion takes its social responsibilities very seriously. We have established a code of social responsibility which all suppliers working with our businesses must comply to. As a fashion company operating in global level, we must ensure all our ethical and environmental activities are well managed across all our businesses. Social responsibility has been seeing as key that brings together our concerns and enthusiastic in making a better community, a better way of living. It drives us to deliver better policies in our business from energy efficiency to supply chain ethics; from fair trading to charitable donation.
We undertake environmental reviews of our operations regularly and ensure that the environment is not adversely affected by our activities. Measures have been taken in some of our manufactories and distribution warehouses for energy conservation and reuse of packing material.
Fair Trading
Gessy Fashion strives to fulfil its social responsibility. We provide our employees with safe working conditions, fair policies regarding appointment and remuneration and ethical workplace standards. There is no bias towards age, gender, colour or marital status in its employee policies. We are also committed to ensuring that we meet our responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act and work hard to make our goods and services accessible to all. Gessy Fashion only work with factories that follows international norms in human rights and conservation, we strictly follows wage regulations of countries we manufacture our products . Only skilled labors above age 18 are employed at the factories.
Support community
Investing in community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support our business. As successful members of the community, Gessy fashion has a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good. We feel this so strongly that it's been a longstanding practice of our company to make on-going denotations in different format to community projects and charitable organizations.
